Meet your Counselor

Naiely M. Saldaña, MS Ed LPC

My name is Naiely M. Saldaña, a Hispanic living on the border and a native Spanish speaker. I am a mother of two, wife, sister, and friend with a passion for counseling and helping others. My journey began about 10 years ago when I discovered my love for helping others through education. I am a licensed professional counselor in the State of Texas since November 2022 and earned a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Texas A&M International University in December 2013.

I have a broad spectrum of experience with young adults and adolescents, including academic, social, emotional, and behavioral issues. In my tenure as a counselor, I have broad familiarity with treating students with challenges including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationships, self-identity, and trauma, among others. With over 8 years of experience as a counselor, I have had the opportunity to work with academically gifted students in a rigorous university setting. I am witness to the struggles of our youth, and have expertise in topics such as Self-identity, Stress Management, Depression, Anxiety, and Social Anxiety.

I am confident in addressing concerns of self-awareness and identity crisis. I am an advocate and ally for the LGBTQ community. As a Mexican-American with Hispanic roots, I understand and acknowledge generational trauma and challenges among minority upbringings.

Through a client-centered perspective, I aspire to help individuals of any age or background overcome struggles, face traumas, and better understand themselves to live their best life possible.
